I too experienced this same problem but after following the suggestions by all of the previous posts prior, I was able to get Smart Config operating successfully. Therefore, I found this particular post to be extremely helpful. Thank you.
Of a related note, does anyone know if there is any TI or 3P mobile app (iOS or Android) developed that allows one to exercise the temperature / accelerometer sensors using a connection-less PC setup? I'd like to simply use my iPhone (after running Smart Config to establish the connection to the CC3000) to gather the sensor data from the CC3000 kit and show it on a simple GUI on the phone itself. (much like the PC-connected demo outlined in the CC3000 WIKI page but without a PC, rather instead using a mobile phone or tablet only)
Any thoughts?
