the difference between CC2530 and CC2531 is just the USB HW module embedded on the 2531 part.

The Z-light - Router example can be run on the 2531 part. You just need to adapt the pins used in that example that drive the PWM and are connected to the LEDs and push-button on the Zlight board to the pinout of the 2531 EMK.
