Thanks Stonestreet One Support, but as your "But..." suggests, your answer is not quite what I'm after. I would like to identify commercially available devices that use TI Bluetooth chipsets. Once I have them then your answer sounds like a good way to extract useful information. I guess the API you refer to is not the RF interface? Do you know any commercially available devices that retain access to the interface your API uses?
Since submitting my original question, I now realise that getting the device into its Test Mode may be a bigger issue. A list of commercially available devices that provide access to the Bluetooth's HCI interface may be what I should really be asking for.
(Another chipset manufacturer has, very usefully for me, a list of devices that use their chipset on their web site for all to see. I can't find an equivalent for TI.)
