Forum Post: Z stack memory consumption during network scan/join stage

I have conducted a memory profiling for our sensor devices, and interesting issue is the memory high water mark seems to happen before the device joins the network, after that , the normal operation memory will be dropped to some reasonable range.

Since the device will perform scan and receive beacon msgs, if there are multiple beacon responses, will Z stack record all of them temporary in memory? If so, is there any memory overflow issue could happen?

Or something else leads to high memory consumption during starting stage?
