I am looking for some clear answers (do they exist?) on the Bluetooth Qualification process.
I am using the CC2540 which has qualification as both a Host Subsystem and Controller Subsystem. However, I am not using the reference design (CC2540EM) and so the RF front-end is different. I was hoping I could simply reference the CC2540 host and controller subsystems in my QDL and then layer my own RF PHY tests on top of that, however, the process only allows existing QDL's that have been listed as "Components" to be referenced in new QDL's.
Does anyone know if its possible to still reference the existing CC2540 QDL's in a new QDL or do I need to start from scratch?
