Does HDX+ have collision Arbitration ?
I try again.
We deal with multiple LF HDX RO tags rapidly passing through a detection volume...
data collisions occur. We mitigate this enivitability in our own way.
After a long wait I pick up my MRD2EVM today ...
On re-reading the MRD2EVM users Guide, I realize the HDX+ transponders may
have the ability to do something a whole lot more important than just trimming their
resonance ...collision mitigation?
Shown on page 16, para 6.7 is a list (inventory) of tags...
are they all simultaneously inside the detection volume?
Note 1. says this "...group of HDX+ advanced HDX+ transponders in the vicinity.."
By deduction I merge the words "group"+ "advanced" + "vicinity"+ "Fig16" and
conclude i am thinking/seeing hdx collision arbitration...yes/no?
Perhaps Josh/others? ... you can expand on this for me and point me to the
appropiate references to quickly learn about this "advanced" feature.
Earlier I was told some works were underway on LF HDX collision avoidance.
I seem to have missed something "beyond critical" for our redesign work here !
Please clarify this business about "advanced HDX+" capability for me.
I am nevus about this EVM ... in light of all the issues raised by forum others.
We were quite happy with the MRD1, but it exists no more...
We have a role for this small product...is this new one now stable?
Will HDX+ technology eventually appear in RO Cattle Tags? ...when?
Kind regards
Ray
