The Sensor Demo code uses SimpliciTI to create the packets. I don't think SimpliciTI is coded to handle packet sizes larger than the receive buffer, which is 64 bytes. Or, if it is, there may be bugs in the code that are causing it to fail. Since SimpliciTI has a few bytes of overhead, you start seeing the failure for more than 60 bytes of payload.
