On the TI CC2540 Keyfob from the BLE MDK there exists the option of powering it from the Debugger (instead of from a battery). This option is enabled by shorting together the 2 pads of R1 on the Keyfob PC board. However, once ths is done, it would be messy to reverse.
So, does anyone know if one could solder a switch across these contacts, in order to allow switching back and forth between the 2 board power options? In particular, what sort of impedance is allowed in the short-circuit? TI could probably best answer this question, but any informed opinion is welcome.
Thanks in advance,
