Forum Post: RE: CC1000 impedance matching network problem

Thank you very much for your help, now the transmitter is working. I can see a peak in 433MHz and also the second harmonic in 866MHz.

However, I have a couple of doubts related to the matching network proposed in the datasheet:

- In RF out, why does the TI recommended circuit for impedance matching connects the inductor and the capacitor to Vcc? Calculating a normal impedance matching circuit I would have connected the components to GND.

- According to datasheet, input impedance is (70-j26)ohms at 433MHz. But if I analyse the matching network with 50 Ohms load (antenna) and the component values specified in datahseet, I obtain 60.5-j9.4 approximately:

Same problem appears with output impedance, obtaining 9.2+j34 instead of 140 ohms of datasheet.

Any idea of what's happening here?

Thank you very much.
