I have a system that goes to sleep for one second wakes up via the sleep timer, processes and goes back to sleep, and so on.... (I also have an external interrupt on port one but that is another issue I have been reading about in another post)
The issue here is that I am expecting to go into PM1 for 1 second then wake up and continue processing. The situation now is that I am occasionally getting stuck in PM1. I know this since the current draw at the sticking point is 220 uA and stays there. So my question is this: What are the consequences of not aligning with the 32KHz clock positive clock edge? This is one thing that I am not doing prior to going to sleep. I will try to align to the positive edge next but, would still like an answer to the question above.
