Forum Post: NFC P2P Mode High Data Rates(212kbs and 424kbs) Connection Set-up problem

I try to set up a NFC P2P mode communication with two trf7970A evm modules. When the chosen data rate is 106kbs the connection is succusful but whenever i select either 212 or 424 kbs and click "set protocol" and "connect" buttoms ir show out that "Set new target CID number" (P.s: the TRF dongles' antennas are almost touching(~ 2-3 mm distance away to each other)). But under the same conditions, whenever i chose 106kbs mode the connection setup is successful and data transmission is possible! 

This is always happening while i try a pairing with 106kbs , only when the slave TRF dongle is out of range of master TRF dongle(i.e, when the slave TRF is far to master TRF or if the slave TRF is not set up already)!!

Does anybody have any idea/problem about that ?
