from what I understand, you can use the Bluetopia BT stack free of charge, as long as you use a combination of either the MSP430FBT5190 or the MSP430F5438 with the CC256x, such as with the PAN1326. I'm using the MSP430FBT5190 with the PAN1326, and have just made the switch to CCS (full version is so much cheaper than IAR). I think you _could_ use the mindtree stack, if you can find it, but TI doesn't support it anymore, and I haven't found any explanation for the switch.
