Thanks for the info. I integrated in the design a super cap of 0.35F DMD2W4R2L354M3BTA0 which is shared with a GSM/GPRS module.

The MCU voltage is isolated from CC3000. As they won't be competing, I think it should be fine for start up requirements. It should be all  goood!
