Forum Post: info about smart config cc3000

hello,

i'd have a simple questino about cc3000..

after doing smart config  the cc3000 is authenticated but not connected , is it right?

should we set a static IP to let the cc3000 acquire its own ip address?

i tryied using the command 08+IP+routerIP to let the cc3000 acquire an IP address, but i had no result, (i'm not able to ping the node)

i used 08c0a8000ac0a80001  to set the IP: 192.168.0.10 (c0a8000a) to the router-gateway 192.168.0.1 (c0a80001)

is it correct?
