I tried you suggestion and no luck so far.
It looks like if I set DRFD_RCVC_ALWAYS_ON=TRUE in the f8wConfig.cfg file, the End-Device Joins the network with RECEIVER_ON_IDLE capabilities. In this mode it can receive unicast messages from a coordinator and no need for polling data. In this mode I cannot switch off my receiver and enter Polling mode. I think this is how a Coordinator knows if unicasts can be sent or if the End-Device willl poll the Coordinator.
If I want to use POWER SAVING I need to configure DRFD_RCVC_ALWAYS_ON=FALSE. In this case I cannot switch to RECEIVER_ALWAYS_ON during runtime.
Any ideas?
