I haven't seen the schematic for your board so I can't conclude that your the rest consume 2mA. It could be that turning on CC1120 increase the current consumption somewhere else. It could also be that the power consumption for CC1120 increases when the load is non optimal. When you do measurements on your board, are the 1. 2. and 3. harmonic levels as expected?
