Hi,YiKai,
Considering these following two cases:
Case A:
There is a coordinator and a router working in a zigbee network. For some reason ,the coordinator is powered off. Then the router will maintain the network forever , won't it?
Case B:
There is a coordinator and a router working in a zigbee network.Because of channel interference , the coordinator (also the network manager) changes the channel . But the router hasn't received the changing message, so it is lost . Then according to your opion , the router will scan channels by zstack automatically ,trying to find the former network.
My question is that , from the router's point of view, how does it know to act as case A or B .
If case A, then it will maintain the network but not scan the other channels .
If case B, then it will perform the scanning and the former network will disappear. If no new network is found ,then it will not work in any zigbee network forever.
Thanks.
