I have been assigned the duty of setting up a prototype for a drive-thru/headset scenario.
I am working with the PPW Configurator 1.4.1.38034. My question deals with the volume controls. We will be working in host control mode and would need to control the volume & muting capabilities on the slave unit via buttons on the slave. The slave will have an MCU. I am confused on the setup for the “Buttons:” field under the “Volume Control” section.
In the Slave configuration, the “Buttons” field is not present. I DO see the field present in the Master configuration. I do not have a need for remote control of volume by the master of the slave. I will need to have buttons assigned by the configurator program for volume control on the slave. Is this done via the “Volume Control” section under the master configuration? Also, how would the buttons on the slave then be IO mapped? I am a little confused by this section of the configuration.
