i'm glad that you found the issue.
In the murata data sheet schemtaic I see short between FUNC2 and WL_RS232_TX ( no 2Kohm).
can you please specify which reference design did you use? since it should be fixed as well.
Indeed, the existing DS schematic of Murata missed the pulls up on the I2C and that will be fixed.
as for the Ohm, i do see short between FUNC2 and WL_RS232_TX.
