Forum Post: RE: CC2540 spi slave mode using interrupt

Hi,

So did you get this code to work for you?  I've been using the CC2540 as an SPI master and it's been working great, but I'm now trying to use it as an SPI slave and am having all sorts of problems.  Namely, I can't use the 8 MHz clock speed that the datasheet says the chip is capable of in slave mode.  I can't even get it to work at 2 MHz.  I am sending little bursts of 18 bytes and am only getting The Rx interrupt twice in that period.  However, if I slow the clock down to 4 kHz on the SPI master side (an MSP430), it almost works correctly.  I get 18 interrupts, although it seems to still get off by a few bits somehow.  Anyway, strange behavior.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Jay
