Forum Post: Difference between controller and module

Hello,

I am rather unfamiliar with Bluetooth applications and would like to use one that will transmit audio information to a Bluetooth headset with the MSP430BT5190.

However, I am confused between choosing the CC2560 or getting the CC2560-PAN1315. Basically, I don't  understand the difference between the controller and the transceiver module with regards to their functioning.
