I have performed measurements, and the current appears to be right around the RX current. When "FREQUENCY_HOPPING" is defined for an end device transmitting to an Access Point using the AP_as_Data_Hub example application, the Radio is never put to sleep from the main function. This is presumably to make sure that you can call the nwk_pllBackgrounder() function frequently as you should fro correct FHSS operation. It looks like that function has to be called every 10ms or so if you want to update channels within a 400ms interval (I think that was the default for this project).
Is there a way that you know of to put the radio in sleep or rx-idle mode and still function with frequency hopping? I need to hop channels sufficiently fast to ensure that I am meeting the "spreading" requirements in FCC 15.247.
