pls. see attached for the meanings of every byte in a UID. I think that you will find that your suggestion is possible, as two bytes of the UID are not unique and one byte is not unique in a population of the same kinds of transponders. Your other option might be to write your own desired numbers into memory block and read that as a stand in.
